Veterinary drugs recalled

Christie Keith, over at Pet Connection, has some information on veterinary drugs that have been recalled. The drugs (listed below) are commonly used for pain control and to induce anesthesia.

Ketamine:

  • Ketaset (Fort Dodge/Pfizer)
  • KetaVed (VEDCO), KetaThesia (Butler)
  • VetaKet (LLOYD Laboratories)
  • Ketaject (Phoenix)
  • Keta-Sthetic (RVX)
  • AmTech Group, Inc.

Butorphanol:

  • EQUANOL (VEDCO)
  • ButorJect (Phoenix)
  • TorphaJect (Butler)
