Hide annoying app notifications from your Facebook stream Posted: 13 May 2010 01:48 PM PDT If you’re on Facebook and get tired of all your friends’ notifications about Mafia Wars, Hotel City, Farmville, Astrology readings (and the list goes on), the good thing is you can get rid of them! It’s actually quite easy. All it takes is a click of the mouse to make them go away. Here’s how to remove Hotel City, Farmville (or other app notifications) from your stream forever – or until Facebook changes things again! Scroll your mouse over to the right of the app you don’t want to see anymore. In this case it’s Hotel City. Click the hide button. A little window will come up that lets you hide the annoying app notification or the person who posted it. Click the hide Hotel City button. Be sure to click the button that lets you hide the app you find annoying. If you click on the first button – to hide the person – that’ll get rid of anything that person does. They’ll still be your friend but you won’t see any of their activity on Facebook. That’s it. Pretty easy, huh?
