Posted: 01 May 2011 07:25 PM PDT Lavendel or Lavender or Lavandula are a genus of flowering plants in Lamiaceae tribes who have 25-30 species. This plant’s origin is from the southern Mediterranean to tropical Africa and eastward to India. This genus includes plants for years, plants of this type of grass, short shrubs, and small shrubs. These plants also spread in the Canary Islands, North and East Africa, southern Europe and the Mediterranean, Arabia, and India. Because it has grown and developed in the landscaped gardens around the world, this plant often found growing wild in areas outside the region of origin. |
